You think this is bad news, hahahaha
Guys I'm in shock here, how could Sony slam their fans again like this.
1. No PS3 in Europe till 2007
2. ONLY 400K IN AMERICA 2006!!!!!!
3. No PS3 evelon (minor I know in comparison)
What a news day, the PS3 will basically be impossible to get in America, same with Japan I'm sure. Why would Sony shaft the Europeans like this, it's not like shooting your foot over there, its like amputating both legs. Just imagine if your country or area was screwe...
How could they not win, the wii will be sold out the so only question is how much nintendo's gonna produce. Oh yah are they even shooting for a worldwide launch.
look we all know the PS3 is gonna sell out for months like all consoles. What you have to accept is that the determining factor isn't the hardcore gamers that make up such a small factor in the market. Face it, sony shot too way too high in the demographicby getting every expensive and totally uneccessary tech feature they could fit in the box.
And their new approach is going to show. Everybody believes it but fanboys.
My crystal ball says a tie, with the wii ...
why do people say CHANG3, it's so lame.
Advertisers in a back room saying,
"hey lets use the most nerdy reconstruction of the english language and put it out there. Yah those social cut offs will really bite into this one."
now don't think i'm defending the real deal but...
The PS2 has been out 5-6 years, the 360 has been out for 10 months. And I noticed you averaged the rates but that is in no way reliable. Since when do the consoles best games come out in the first year?? How many developer teams can manage to make a good game in less than a year of final hardware. How long does it take for more developers to go next gen off the PS2/xbox/gamecube?? The rate is logically exponential for all syst...
drew how did MS rip off nintendo. I'm just wondering to hear the story it could be true or not. It's just you don't hear much about that.
Did the PS3 controller rip off the 360 triggers, 360 guide button, wii motion sense.
Come on, wrong tree to bark up
How can you STILL compare PS2 with the PS3. The PS3 is TWICE as expensive and THREE times as expensive as the PS2 selling price of 200 bucks. That's when it really sold those consoles.
500-600 bucks back then is still 500-600 bucks to people now. Most will think waiting will bring the price down. They will be dissapointed in 2-3 years as it lingers around 350-450. STILL not low enough. While the competition will be well below that.
Now I'd never say the PS3...
reason is simple, if you have a PSP a 8 dollar movie is practical.
good post chief
what's even funnier is when ps3 fanboys try to justify the authetic performance and true product that the PS3 is when it gets negative reviews and comments.
yah I agree, if it was an MS cable it would be dark grey like the rest of them.
error or joke, they wouldn't sell a broken one for the same price.
Ohh wait, duhhh, they did that cause it's targets logo. You know like a red target, funny.
isn't this the guy who smacked down the PS3 a while back.
you really think people want a PS3 premium. If it wasn't for the 60gb drive the majority of people wouldn't bother. Microsoft gives you a choice, and Sony definately doesn't. The choice is going to cost you a little extra, booohooo. It's incomparable because it's not standard. If you want all those fancy expensive and unessesary things than get a PS3 premium. There's only a few of you out there comparably with the rest of the market. Also you can't compare a PS3 premium HDMI to the 360...
xbug, that's because your a fanboy and only buy Sony consoles and games affiliated with their company.
500 dollars not bad, looks a lot sleeker than the last one. Better have 1080p and short loads times for competitions sake. 99% of the world could care less about 1080p.
Well guys the 360 was HDMI capable after all. Their selling their HDMI for 100 bucks. So this begs the question can you compare the 360 to the core ps3.
Don't really care myself, and who else does except uber techies or fanboys.
well man this is the best we get when we want to know how europeans take the news. Eurogamer.net is the best you can get to see how they react.
